Shane Elizabeth Gould AM MBE is an Australian former competition swimmer. She won three gold medals, a silver medal and a bronze, at the 1972 Summer Olympics, becoming the first woman swimmer to win five individual medals.
Shane personally signed this swim cap. The frame is approx 41 x 31cm.
This item was purchased at a charity auction held in Canberra, for the Marlene Harrison-Gray Memorial Trust (invoiced on 1 September 2001). Over the years, we supported many charities by attending fund raisers and purchasing memorabilia.
