Ian James Thorpe AM is an Australian retired swimmer who specialised in freestyle, but also competed in backstroke and the individual medley. He has won five Olympic gold medals, the second most won by any Australian after fellow swimmer Emma McKeon.
This card is accompanied by a cap. The cap is not signed. Some of the charities who conducted fund raising auctions wouldn’t have the time or funds to frame items they received. You can frame it yourself. A nice inexpensive gift for someone who loves Australian swimming champions. This would have been signed by Ian in 2005 when he had a contract with Foxtel.
