Venus Ebony Starr Williams is an American inactive professional tennis player. A former world No. 1 in both singles and doubles, Williams has won seven Grand Slam singles titles, five at Wimbledon and two at the U.S. Open. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
We believe Venus wore these items, they have some marks on them. We think they were from 1998. Venus has signed the shirt and skirt, so there are 2 signatures, the shoes are not signed.
Some of the charities who conducted fund raising auctions wouldn’t have the time or funds to frame items they received. You can frame it yourself.
This item was purchased at a charity auction held in Wagga Wagga – The Grace Willis Rotary Trust – 12 October 1998.
